Kiln Blue tableware is Inspired by the colours and textures found in the natural world and created by using unique Denby glazing techniques which create an effect resembling sea waves. The emotional response we have to the natural world is key to our well-being and Kiln Blue aims to bring those qualities into our living spaces.
Launched in 2024 Kiln Blue was designed to sit comfortably with other inky blue ceramics or as an independent collection and for the way we live today. Place setting items are restrained and uncomplicated and the soft white toned glaze and gentle inky blue stipples along with the dramatic reactive glaze effect create stunning pieces of art. Kiln Blue is also versatile and stylish for entertaining indoors or out; hardy enough for confidently cooking and serving food in the kitchen and dining room but also looks good holding essentials in the bedroom and bathroom.
Why is this product better than any other on the market?:
Founded over 200 years ago and still made at its original home in Derbyshire. local clay is still used to create made-to-last ceramics which are enveloped in glazes produced at the pottery. Today Denby still uses artisan studio pottery inspired techniques and each piece is created by at least 20 pairs of hands.
The natural properties of Denby’s Made in England collections are PFAS free which means there are no ‘forever chemicals’ used in its production.
