When I first bought a mySpike I suspected it would be another gimmick to be relegated to the back of the drawer with the rest of my useless gadgets.
To my delight I was wrong. It is used regularly to effortlessly cook meats, vegetables and jacket spuds.
It makes a great gift too. Just make sure to check the dimensions of your oven (I initially bought the 25cm one and it was too tall for my oven, but the 20cm version is perfect). It’s really easy to clean and takes up hardly any storage space as the spike unscrews from the base.
